I flew a plane for the very first time! It’s one of the most exhilarating and frightening things I’ve ever done. The highlight was flying over my neighborhood at 7,500 feet.
I’m still taking it all in. I thought I’d be a passenger for the most part, but turns out I handled everything but the landing (thankfully).
I can only imagine what it’s like peering out the cockpit in an airliner at 35,000 feet.
