My Interop feature ranking

The Firefox team just launched a website that allows users to rank the Interop 2027 proposals that they care about. And I care about things - for selfish reasons and for work. And that's a challenge. I want to rank things that only benefit me and my blog but I also want to rank things that would make my daily job easier. Or, at least, allow me to delete a lot of code. So I settled with a balance of five for each.

My final ranking:

  1. CSS random() function
  2. CSS corner-shape property
  3. CSS gap decorations
  4. CSS border-shape property
  5. CSS object-view-box property
  6. CSS flex-wrap: balance
  7. CSS reading-flow and reading-order properties
  8. Customizable/stylable <select>
  9. 103 Early Hints preloading
  10. CSS grid lanes (masonry)

Now, if I had a rank of things I want just for pure fun, it would look something like this:

  1. CSS random() function
  2. CSS corner-shape property
  3. CSS gap decorations
  4. CSS border-shape property
  5. CSS object-view-box property
  6. CSS sibling-count() and sibling-index() functions
  7. CSS filter(image, ...filters)
  8. CSS random-item() function
  9. CSS var() in size container queries
  10. CSS box-decoration-break without a vendor prefix

And here's what would make my life easier at work and what are our most frequent requests from clients:

  1. CSS flex-wrap: balance
  2. Customizable/stylable <select>
  3. 103 Early Hints preloading
  4. CSS grid lanes (masonry)
  5. CSS reading-flow and reading-order properties
  6. CSS var() in size container queries
  7. CSS linked parameters
  8. CSS @supports at-rule()
  9. Responsive iframes
  10. CSS AccentColor system color reflects accent-color
